Same-sex Wedding – Marleybrook House, Kent

Imagine having no clue what your wedding day was going to be like. No idea where it was, how it would look, or what would be happening. That’s how Matthew felt going into his wedding day…

Despite being a self-confessed ‘control-freak’, Matthew agreed to let George plan every little detail. Luckily, George absolutely nailed it, and capturing Matthew’s reaction when he arrived on the day was something really special for me.

George and Matthew’s sunny outdoor ceremony took place at Marleybrook House, which also happens to have a fairground. The result was a beautiful day full of fun, laughter, and obviously a few tears (and a few instances of whiplash from the dodgems)!

Every single element was so personal and unique to the couple – from the custom ceremony conducted by their housemate, to Matthew’s choreographed Britney Spears dance – which made telling their story and bringing out their personalities a real breeze in the film. I’m so grateful to have been a part of their wedding day, and I’m so happy for the two of them.
